‘Voice of SAAT’ Season 3 concluded, 5 Eminent Personalities has been honored
Kathmandu – Diya Ghimire from Peak Point Academy has emerged as the champion of ‘Voice of SAAT’ Season 3, a prestigious singing competition for young talents. She claimed the title with a stellar performance at the grand finale, held on Tuesday at the Russian Culture Center, Kamal Pokhari.
The competition featured several outstanding performers, with Samprada Ghimire from Golden Garden Academy securing the first runner-up position. Jebisha Shrestha from Peak Point Academy was named the second runner-up, Anjal Babu Kattel from Saipal Academy placed third, and Aryan Shahi from St. George International School took fourth place.
Participants from various schools showcased their vocal prowess in the competition. The winners were rewarded with cash prizes and other recognitions. Additionally, Manzil Ghimire from NOBS was honored with the Rising Star Award, while Anjal Babu Kattel from Saipal Academy received the Public Choice Award.
The grand event was attended by renowned actor and Chairman of the Film Artists Association, Mohan Niraula, who served as the chief guest. Engineer Binay Shrestha, President of SAAT, presided over the program, while SAAT’s General Secretary, Prashant Dahal, coordinated the event.
A distinguished panel of judges, including veteran singer Sangeeta Pradhan, music director Raju Singh, and composer Santosh Shrestha, evaluated the contestants’ performances.
In addition to celebrating young musical talent, the event also honored five distinguished personalities for their significant contributions in various fields. Writer and journalist Saroj Ojha was recognized for his excellence in media and literature, Paralympic medalist Palesha Goverdhan was acknowledged for her achievements in sports, Kathmandu Education Unit Chief Bichari Prasad Adhikari was commended for his contributions to education, singer Lakpa Sherpa was honored for his impact in the arts, and media reporter Sanu Shrestha was awarded for her work in journalism.
SAAT emphasized that these individuals were recognized for their remarkable dedication and contributions to their respective fields, which have positively impacted society and the nation.
