Today, in the honour of Nepalese citizens graduated from various educational institutions of Pakistan, the Embassy of Pakistan organized an Alumni Get Together event at Hotel Aloft Kathmandu. These Graduates were recipient of scholarships under Pakistan Technical Assistance Programme (PTAP) in different faculties such as MBBS / BDS / D. Pharmacy / BS Engineering etc.

Mr. Himalaya Shumsher J.B Rana, President, Nepal-Pakistan Friendship and Cultural Association (NPFCA) graced the occasion as a Chief Guest. Addressing at the occasion, Mr. Himalaya Shumsher Rana recollected the deepness of Nepal-Pakistan friendly relations and praised the support of Pakistan in Nepal’s development endeavors, especially in the fields of technical education.

He also appreciated Government of Pakistan for equipping Nepalese students with quality education from its renowned educational institutions. He acclaimed that the students qualified from Pakistan are continuously contributing towards progress of Nepal with their rich educational experience. Mr. Rana expressed the hope for Pakistan’s continued support in future as well. In his remarks, the Charge d`Affaires of Pakistan Mr. Adnan Javed Khan said that the Educational scholarships to Nepalese students is a reflection of people-to-people relations between Pakistan and Nepal.

He also assured of Pakistan’s continued support for Educational scholarships to Nepalese students in future as well. He thanked the Alumni for upholding the spirit of serving humanity.
